Meal Plan and Grocery List 8/16-8/22

The meal plan is back! As I flipped through my recipes tonight, planning the next two weeks of meals for my family, I realized that I posted my last meal plan on here nearly a month ago. Wow. Then planning went out the window and we fell into a carefree summer lifestyle with reckless abandon. No regrets. We definitely made the most of this gorgeous summer. Now the first day of school is just around the corner, we have concluded all of our summer travels, and life is returning to it's normal routine. It feels good.

Monday August 16th

Mexican Salad with Creamy Avocado Dressing
Monterrey Ranch Bread

12 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breast
8 oz. Italian sausage (turkey is a great option)
hamburger and hotdogs

Dairy

Mexican blend shredded cheese
butter
shredded Monterey Jack cheese
fresh mozzerella

Canned Goods

black beans
mayonnaise
hot sauce
olive oil
ranch dressing
fish sauce
soy sauce
fresh chile paste with garlic
canola oil
balsamic vinegar
honey
oil packed sundried tomatoes in Italian herbs

Dry Goods

corn chips
1 loaf French bread
8 oz. 1/2 thick rice noodles
brown sugar
2 loave focaccia bread (rosemary or garlic)
hamburger and/or hot dog buns
