Meal Plan and Grocery List 3/9- 3/15

We had two really nice days last week- a glimpse of Spring. I got all excited about the weather while making my meal plan and put in three meals that I would traditionally make on the grill. We'll see how that goes. I think that I saw something about a chance of flurries tomorrow. Oh well. Guess my broiler is going to get a workout. I am completely and totally ready for grilling season to be here! On Tuesday, I'm featuring another guest cook. My friend Staycie will be serving up a Mexican Lasagna that she came up with in her kitchen last week. I can't wait to see! So here's the plan:

Monday March 9th

Spicy Tuna & Linguine with Garlic and Pine Nuts

Tuesday March 10th

Mexican Lasagna courtesy of my guest cook, Staycie

Wednesday March 11th

Marinated Chicken Breast on the Grill
I haven't decided on the side yet...maybe a risotto and/or a vegetable medley of some sort.

Thursday March 12th

Chicken Enchiladas

Friday March 13th

Pizza Night

Saturday March 14th

Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburgers

Sunday March 15th

  2. Thanks Donna! It's not so bad... this way I only have to actually think about what's for dinner once a week. The rest of the time I just know. I like just knowing...

Hey-I hope you had a nice reunion with FFH.

  4. I love your blog, Krista! I really have no business in the kitchen, but you have inspired me :) I have actually been cooking and enjoying it. Everything is so yummy! I haven't yet got the "planning" down, still running to the store every other day....Oh well, one step at a time :)

  5. Ya'll are making me blush with word's like "inspiration". Thank you, thank-you!

Jess, I bet you're just fine in the kitchen. But really, that's why I do the step-by-step pics and explanation. Part of it is the "home ec" teacher in me, I just can't help "over-explaining", but also it's because I know that everyone has the potential to throw these meals together, it's just easier with a visual.

    Thanks girls!
